Infocom Packaging
Infocom was famous for its creative packaging. From the flying saucer
that contained Starcross to the genuine piece of pocket fluff in
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy to the rubber centipede in
The Lurking Horror (that sometimes melted to peoples' equipment).
No other game company, past or present, has been able to hold a candle to
the Infocom marketing gurus.
